Step by step instructions

  • Wash methi leaves thoroughly and chop them finely.
  • Peel and dice potatoes into small cubes.
  • Heat oil in a pan on medium heat.
  • Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
  • Add a pinch of Okhliwali Hing.
  • Add potatoes and cook for 5–7 minutes.
  • Add turmeric and salt, mix well.
  • Add chopped methi leaves and stir.
  • Cook uncovered until potatoes are soft and methi is cooked.
  • Stir occasionally to avoid burning.
